The web-based setup scripts included with LITHIUM|Core perform the basic configuration of the LITHIUM|Core deployment and allow you to setup the Customer under which sites and monitored devices can be configured. This document assumes you have completed the installation of LITHIUM|Core.

Admin Username and Admin Password

The admin (master user) authentication credentials to be set for your LITHIUM|Core deployment. Additional users can be configured per customer but the admin user has full access to all settings including the LITHIUM|Core deployment configuration.

PostgreSQL Username and Password

The PostgreSQL database username and password that was set up during the LITHIUM|Core installation process.  Again, make sure your PostgreSQL installation allows password authentication.

The IP address or hostname of your PostgreSQL server and the TCP port on which the service is running. Typically it is safe to leave this to the default value.

Web Root

This is the Document Root of your Apache installation. This is obtained from the running configuration of the server. You should not need to change.

Click 'Write Config File' to complete the basic configuration of your LITHIUM|Core deployment and Customer.

The setup report screen shown below should inform you that configuration has been performed successfully and whether or not Lithium was successfully re-started automatically.
