Downloading Console for Windows

The current version of console for Windows can be downloaded from the following link:

 http://www.lithiumcorp.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=59&Itemid=147

Once the installer has finished downloading, you simply need to double click on the file (console_win_current.msi). This will take you through the installer

Accepting the defaults will install Lithium Console in  "C:\Program Files\LithiumCorp\LITHIUM Console".

When you open Lithium Console for the first time you will need to configure a customer. 

Basic Customer Configuration

When you first run Lithium Console, Console will attempt to locate Lithium Core at http://127.0.0.1/Lithium, and you will be warned that it "Failed to download Customer List XML". Clicking "Ok" will now open up the Options Window, this can also be accessed by clicking on the Tools -> Options on the  menu bar (Ctrl + ,)

The first step is to enter the address of your Core server in the "Auto-Configuration URL" textbox:

The Address will be in the following format:

http://<lithium server>/Lithium

or

http://<lithium server>/Lithium/<customer name> 

Once you have entered the Core details, Click "Apply".  If you have entered the configuration url correctly, the customer list should be populated with all of your customers details.

You can now close the option window, and Console is now ready.
